Please Help:
Ilkley Thingery is a not-for-profit project that's run by volunteers. We're dedicated to promoting sharing, environmental sustainability, and community building in Ilkley and surrounding areas.
Our vision is to build a thriving community where sharing is the norm, and access to a wide range of items and experiences is available to ALL. We aim to build a sustainable future by promoting environmentally conscious behaviours, nurturing social connections, and helping people explore their passions and hobbies.
We need volunteers to help with things such as:
- Sort donations *
- Clean Things *
- Catalogue stock *
- Test that items are complete or working *
- Tell people about the Thingery *
- Help with social media *
- Keep our website up to date *
- Run the Thingery *
- Organise or Run Workshops and Repair Cafes
- Repair Things
- PAT test our electrical Things (all portable electrical items are PAT tested)
* Training and Support provided.
